Plain English summary: Schools own their data. We provide the platform. You're responsible for how your school uses it. Either party can end the agreement with notice, and you can export your data at any time.
By accessing or using Co-Curricular Manager ("the Service", "the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you are accessing the Service on behalf of a school or organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
Co-Curricular Manager is a web-based platform that helps schools manage staff co-curricular hour requirements. The Service includes:
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with reasonable notice to active schools where possible.
You agree to use the Service only for its intended purpose of managing co-curricular activities and hours within your school. You must not:
The school administrator who establishes and manages the school's account on the platform ("School Administrator") is responsible for:
Schools own their data. All data entered into the platform by your school — including staff records, activity configurations, hour logs, and approval decisions — remains the property of your school.
We are a data processor acting on your school's behalf. We will only process your data in accordance with your instructions (as reflected in your use of the platform) and our Privacy Policy.
We will not use your school's data for any purpose other than providing the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy.
Schools participating in the Pilot Program receive access to the full Service at no cost for the duration of the pilot period. The pilot period and any transition to a paid plan will be communicated to participating schools with at least 60 days' notice.
Pricing for paid annual subscriptions is agreed individually with each school. Details including fees, payment schedule, and any applicable discounts will be set out in a separate order form or agreement.

You may terminate your school's account at any time by contacting us at jessemckinnon20@gmail.com. You should export your data before termination using the platform's built-in CSV export feature.
We may terminate or suspend your school's access to the Service:
After termination of your account, we will retain your school's data for 30 days to allow for data export. You may request a data export during this period by contacting us. After 30 days, all personal data associated with your school will be permanently deleted.
To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law:
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law, including liability for death, personal injury, or fraudulent misrepresentation.
The Co-Curricular Manager platform, including its software, design, and documentation, is owned by Jesse McKinnon and protected by Australian and international intellectual property laws.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the platform solely for the purpose of managing your school's co-curricular activities, for the duration of your subscription.
Your school retains all intellectual property rights in the content and data you input into the platform.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify school administrators of material changes via email at least 30 days before changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
If you do not agree to updated Terms, you may terminate your account before the changes take effect.
These Terms are governed by the laws of South Australia, Australia. Any disputes arising under these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Australia.
Before commencing formal proceedings, the parties agree to attempt to resolve any dispute in good faith through direct negotiation for at least 30 days.
